We are a growing company and are always on the look-out for experienced and talented carers. You will need to have passed a course in Basic Skills for Care and preferably hold an NVQ2 in Social Care of the Elderly. You must also have a minimum of one year’s experience of live-in care (experience as a visiting carer or as a care home assistant does not count). 

Beyond that we are looking for people who have good social and communication skills and who are competent housekeepers and cooks and are happy to prepare traditional English meals from scratch. Above all you must have a warm, friendly and patient personality and enjoy working with older people. Some of our clients specifically request a carer who can drive, so a full driving licence would be a distinct advantage.

The application form asks you to provide the names of two referees, at least one of whom must be a previous employer. If you are invited for interview, we will contact your referees beforehand in order to speed up the recruitment process. If we decide to take you on, we will then ask you to meet the cost of the mandatory Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check, which will be refunded to you, once you have successfully completed your 3 month probationary period.
