The Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) has changed
The Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI) has been changed to the Care Quality Commission (CQC) as of 1 April 2009. The CQC is an amalgamation of the Healthcare Commission, the Mental Health Act Commission and the Commission for Social Care Inspection.

This new organisation has wider powers across more health care sectors within the UK.
