Care Coordinator / Administrator Job Description - No vacancies

The role is primarily to co-ordinate our live in care staff rota to ensure that our client's care is managed, maintained and covered on a permanent basis to the client's satisfaction and in line with National Minimum Standards as set down by the CSCI.

The duties and responsibilities for this position include:

  • Client service and support

  • Organisation of the staff rota

  • Client contracts and job start co-ordination

  • Client and Carer liaison

  • Carer/client ratio management

  • Client and employee data input

  • Organisation and booking of staff training.

  • Payroll compilation for submission to payroll bureau.

  • Invoicing.

  • Holder of emergency phone

The successful applicant will need to be organised, professional and have an ability to work under pressure. A sense of humour is essential. We require someone with previous experience of working with the elderly to manage the rostering of our growing team of carers. You must be computer-literate and well organised, have a confident and outgoing manner, be capable of working on your own initiative and possess a full UK driving licence. Previous experience in this role and proven ability to liaise successfully with key figures in Social Services and/or PCTs would be a distinct advantage.

A starting salary of up to £18,000 is available, plus participation in a staff bonus scheme and success in this role will lead to other opportunities as the company grows.

Office Assistant Job Description - Salary £12,000

The role is primarily to support and assist the Care Coordinator, Manager and Nurse Risk Assessor.

The duties and responsibilities for this position include:

  • Answering the telephone

  • Taking messages and passing on to the relevant member of staff

  • Filing

  • Maintaining the Post log and dealing with incoming and out going post.

  • Photocopying

  • Archiving records

  • Stock control

  • Office presentation and making of teas and coffee

  • General office administration and assistance
