Please call and ask to speak to our friendly registered nurse if you are looking for relief respite care. Diane Bowyer is our in-house nurse who will come to you for a free no obligation assessment - she will visit you in your own home or in hospital, as the case may be and take the time to explain our services to you.

We take the time to make sure that the care is right for you and specifically designed and adapted to suit your personal needs. Even though respite care is for just a short period we still go to great lengths of completing our full Care Plan, which allows us to get to know your personal needs, from what you like to eat for lunch to the time you like to go to bed. Making sure that you are safe in your own home is a top priority for us, which is why we always carry out a complete risk assessment of your house before the care starts.

We have a number of clients that use our live-in care services on a temporary basis whilst they go away on holiday and need a break from the care of a loved one. Our respite care is on a live in basis and is for a minimum of two weeks at a time.

Some times people use our respite care service to try it out and see whether it is what they are looking for. In most cases where people have tried our services, they have gone on to be long-term clients and to receive full-time live in care. This "suck it and see" respite service will help you to decide that remaining in your home for end of life care is the best option and causes the least disruption in the family.
